Adding more personality to Golden Corral's social accounts. Creating relevant content around buffet culture and the love for the restaurant featuring actors from our TV commercials. In turn, creating brand recall as well. ​​


THE CHALLENGE:

The buffet social media has a surge of beautifully shot food. Golden Corral needed to make a break through with more personality to increase engagement and brand retention. ​​

GRABBING OPPORTUNITIES:
Former Heisman Trophy candidate, Matt Corral, broke his foot and missed his rookie season. He is now the third string quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. He needs a sponsor. Since he shares the same name as Golden Corral, who better to be their spokesperson?​


HOW IT WORKED:
Matt made a series of UGC-style videos pleading his case to Golden Corral as to why they should sponsor him. In response to Matt’s videos, Golden Corral posted responses on their own Instagram account which created a fun back-and-forth people were invested in, gaining fans for both Corrals!
